The honey bee sign stands a proud 17 inches tall and 17 1/2 inches wide and is made by using our patented process of upcycling fallen trees from our Forest Farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The trees in our forest are a combination of Pine, Maple, Birch, Alder, Poplar, and you will find them in every sign that we make.
The fallen trees are cut into various size wooden round slices. The slices are then glued onto a birch wood backer with a clear waterproof construction adhesive. The wood slices are then individually hand painted with a paint wash to give it color but also let the natural wood grain show through. After drying the sign is then coated in a water based acrylic topcoat to help resist moisture. After another drying period, the signs are ready to be shipped to you priority mail for FREE.
